OneFamily is a savings and investments provider for modern families, owned by its 2.6 million members.
Back in 2015, OneFamily was born out of the merger of Family Investments and Engage Mutual, to become one of the UK's largest mutuals. Family Investments started out as Family Assurance Friendly Society but re-branded when they launched their Child Trust Funds (CTF) in 2005, including their Ethical CTF.
Previously, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Ethical CTF, more than seven thousand trees were planted at schools across the country. They have also contributed to important biodiversity plantings at the Science Museum, Wroughton and Chapel Hill Woodland, Guisborough.
To continue their help in saving the planet, they are cutting down on the use of paper and encouraging customers to switch to paperless statements to conserve water and reduce CO2 emissions produced from the delivery vehicles. As a result, for every five switches made, they are planting trees across schools and woodlands in the UK.
