Planting day at Sowerby Community Primary School, Thirsk

Pupils from Sowerby Primary School in Thirsk were joined by Professor Bellamy to plant some trees in the school grounds.
The trees were sponsored by Tree Appeal partner printing.com and representatives from local stores came to help.
Garry Ingoldsby of Printing.com said, "We were delighted to be able to sponsor the tree planting event at Sowerby Primary School. It was an excellent afternoon and a joy to be able to watch David Bellamy at work – engaging with the children and talking passionately about the importance of trees and looking after our planet.
