CSL Seqirusc planting day at Wepre ParkReturn visit to West Nab with Oyster

March 2024

Almost one year on from their previous planting event at West Nab Shooting Lodge near Holmfirth, Oyster were back again. They were planting trees that Oyster's print clients had sponsored by opting into Oyster's Eco-Print Tariff - planting a tree for every 25,000 print "clicks".

Phil Birkhead, Oyster's Sales Director, along with team members from 85 companies who have opted into the Eco-Print Tariff came along on the day to assist in the planting of their sponsored trees.

“It was great to revisit the trees that we planted the previous year and then to get stuck in with the help of our Eco-customers and plant this year's tree commitment. At Oyster we are passionate about sustainability our commitment to link tree planting to our print service delivers many sustainable benefits. What is fantastic about tree planting is we all have a great day away from the office but more importantly the trees we have plantedĀ  today will create an Eco-legacy that will last for many hundreds of years”
- Phil Birkhead- Sales Director, Oyster

The trees were all native British species, grown in the UK and included Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Bird Cherry, Dogwood, and Crab Apple. These new saplings will provide a perfect habitat for wildlife, promoting biodiversity and preserving the natural environment. Oyster 's customer volunteers gained hands-on experience of how trees are planted and learned how important trees are to the world in which we live.
