Planting day at West Nab with Gedeon Richter
October 2024
Representatives of Gedeon Richter joined Tree Appeal at West Nab Shooting Lodge to help plant 250 broadleaf trees.
For Gedeon Richter, conducting their business in a responsible manner is an essential part of their strategy. By developing innovative products and maximising access to them, they aim to provide direct benefits to patients, whilst maintaining profitability and sustainability. The value they generate has a positive impact on the wider world, as healthy people and communities are essential to building healthy societies.
“We are looking out over the beautiful West Nab where we are planting some trees today - A team of us, mainly from Northern England and Scotland. We thought it would be a good idea to have a team building activity but today is mainly about sustainability, making a positive impact and just getting out there!”
Richard Edmunds - Gedeon Richter
The trees were all native British species, grown in the UK and included Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Wild Cherry, Hazel and Crab Apple. These new saplings will provide a perfect habitat for wildlife, promoting biodiversity and preserving the natural environment.
The Gedeon Richter team gained hands-on experience of how trees are planted and learned how important trees are to the world in which we live.
